What is FBL Functional Kinetics?

Klein-Vogelbach® Functional Kinetics is a model for observing movement. It is used to analyse and adapt movements or therapeutic exercises.

Movement analysis is based on certain observation criteria, which can be applied to all joints of the body, posture and kinematic chains.

Functional Kinetics grew out of practice, and has consistently been further developed in the course of treating patients and dealing with students in class. It is important to see and know everything that happens when a person moves, and to recognise when and why deviations occur. When deviations are perceived, it is assumed there is a standard from which the deviation has occurred.
Functional Kinetics has chosen as its standard the normal kinetic behaviour of a healthy person.

The Swiss physiotherapist
Dr.med. h.c. Susanne Klein-Vogelbach developed the concept of Functional Kinetics.
